On July 17, 2019, an official spokesperson of the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship mentioned an important point. People visiting UAE can now renew their six-month visa for multiple entry visits for another six months if they apply through the system of Ministry of Interior e-channels.

2. Eligibility

People who want to apply for this particular visa have to be a student, a professional, entrepreneurs, or investors. These individuals should be contemplating a residency visa for the long term in the UAE. If they have a six-month visa for multiple entry, they will get an opportunity to explore the local environment of the UAE. They can also initiate their paperwork to get a long-term visa.

3. Application process

· Submit your visa application through Echannels or the immigration system

· An immigration officer will receive your visa application

4. Documents Required

· Colored photo

· Passport of the dependent

· Three years bank deposit amounting to 10,000,000 AED

5. Visa renewal

The multiple entry visa for 6 months offers a stay for six months to the holder. It can be renewed once for another six months. So, when a holder opts for an extension, he or she can live in UAE for one year through a multiple entry visa.

 

6. Normal travelers – six-month visit visa in UAE

 

Normal travelers can be categorized into three types, which are as follows. (We will only discuss the thirty days on arrival nationals in this section.)

7. Thirty days on arrival nationals

The visa also enjoys a 10-day grace period. Many people who have on-arrival visas usually extend their stay by going through an travel agency. However, it is a time-consuming procedure. Other simpler alternatives to stay for a longer period are to apply for a prepaid visa in UAE before arrival or a service called visa change without exit.

8. The two different options for extending your stay in Dubai are:

1. Get an on-arrival visa (free) stamped at the Dubai airport. So, if we include the grace period, you can stay for forty days in Dubai. A new visa can be provided to you on the thirty-eighth day without leaving the country.

2. Get a prepaid tourist visa for 90 days, even before you are traveling. The ninety-day visa on arrival has 10 days grace period, offering you a total of one hundred days in Dubai.

10. Time to process

The prepaid visit visa to UAE can take between 24 and 48 hours for processing. On the other hand, the visit without an exit in UAE may take 48 and 72 hours. Visa is issued from Monday to Friday.
